Reading Program Picnic Scheduled for July 27
Join the Hiawatha Public library, 151 W. Willman Street, for one final summer reading reward---a party!
There will be hot dogs and chips, cookie decorating and face painting for kids, along with Giant Jenga! Summer reading program participants and their families are welcome.

Hiawatha Farmers Market Brings Community Together
Hiawatha Farmers Market not only brings you the best fresh produce, meats, homemade baked goods and sauces the community has to offer; it is also a great place to socialize.
People come from miles around to visit Hiawatha's seasonal market, which runs from April to Oct.
The market is held Sundays, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m in the 10th Avenue parking lot of Guthridge Park. The market will be held rain, or shine.

Horizons Provides Free Lunch for Kids
The Hiawatha Library is partnering this summer with Horizons to provide lunch to kids in the community.
All kids, 0-18, are invited to come to the library at approximately 11:30 am, Monday through Friday. The lunches will continue until Aug. 23.
The Library is located at 151 W. Willman Street.
